2020 Networking Dinner Companies

Every year in January IEEE hosts the Networking Dinner, where representatives from the IEEE Career Fair hosted the next day can sit down and meet students in a formal banquet environments, for the first time this year at the new Oak on Main.

The 21st networking dinner will be at 6:30pm on January 28th. It starts with a meet-and-greet session. Once seated, a brief welcome presentation followed by the dinner session approximately around 7:00 pm.

Seating arrangements for one table is typically two company representative and eight students. Selected based on student and company preferences.

Between dinner and dessert the students switch tables to maximize the number of students for the representatives to meet.

Please be aware that this is a formal event, and that registration is required to attend.

Avista Utilities is located in Spokane, WA and has a lot of exciting opportunities for Electrical Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, and Civil Engineers. Avista is currently accepting applications for their Student Engineer Development Program (SEDP) for Summer 2019.
Tri-State Generation and Transmission is a transmission and generation cooperative located in Westminster, Colorado. Tri-State serves 43 electric distribution cooperatives across Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, and Nebraska.

Snohomish County PUD is the second largest publicly owned utility in Washington. We serve over 350,000 electric customers and about 20,000 water customers. Our service territory covers over 2,200 square miles, including all of Snohomish County and Camano Island.
Clearwater Paper manufactures quality consumer tissue, away-from-home tissue, parent roll tissue, bleached paperboard and pulp at manufacturing facilities across the nation. Its Lewiston Idaho facility is the company’s largest manufacturing site with all levels of production from raw product to packaged goods and power generation of over 50% of the 120 MW plant load. Mutiple intern positions are available including mechanical engineering, electrical engineering (power and controls), chemical engineering specifically process control. Sophomores and up are welcome to apply by bringing a resume to the career fair.

Who we are

Welcome to the student chapter of the Institute of Electronics and Electrical Engineers at Washington State University. Here at WSU we are committed to keeping the tradition of a strong engineering culture as well as serving as a social and career building enterprise for those students that wish to make use of our resources.

Our main goal is to provide a link to the corporate world through our involvement with industry representatives and contacts. We are proud to provide the Career Fair for students while at the same time maintaining a good relationship with many companies.
